These terms govern use of Kobo Warehouse, an application provided by Kobo Warehouse for branch and warehouse staff to raise stock requests, dispatch and receive deliveries, and keep count of stock.
Kobo Warehouse is a workplace application. Accounts are issued by the organisation that employs you, under an agreement between that organisation and Kobo Warehouse. Using the application means accepting these terms. Where they conflict with the agreement your organisation has signed, that agreement takes precedence.
Your account
There is no public sign-up. Your administrator creates your account, decides which stores you can reach and what you may do at each, and can change or withdraw that access at any time.
- Keep your password to yourself. Activity under your account is treated as yours.
- Tell your administrator immediately if you believe someone else has used your account.
- Do not share an account, and do not use one issued to someone else.
- Your account may be suspended or withdrawn by your administrator, or by Kobo Warehouse where these terms are broken.
Using the application
You may use Kobo Warehouse for your employer's stock operations, and for nothing else. In particular, you may not:
- Enter records you know to be false, or alter records to misrepresent what was moved, received or counted
- Access data for stores you have not been given access to, or attempt to bypass the permission system
- Copy, decompile, reverse-engineer or resell any part of the application
- Use automated means to extract data in bulk, or interfere with the service's operation or security
- Upload anything unlawful, or any photograph taken for a purpose other than recording stock
What you enter
The records you create — requests, shipments, adjustments, counts, comments and photographs — belong to your organisation, not to Kobo Warehouse and not to you personally. Kobo Warehouse processes them on your organisation's behalf, as set out in the Privacy Policy at http://localhost:4000/privacy-policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. The stock ledger is an operational and accounting record, and a figure entered carelessly is carried into the counts, reports and reorder decisions that follow it.
The application itself
Kobo Warehouse, its software, design, and the QuikOrder platform it is built on remain the property of their owners. Nothing here transfers ownership of the software or grants any right beyond the use described above. Your organisation is granted the right to use the application for the term of its agreement; that right ends when the agreement ends.
Availability
Kobo Warehouse works to keep the service running and available, but does not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, faults, network outages and the failure of a device or connection can all interrupt it.
The application is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Kobo Warehouse is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for loss arising from data entered incorrectly, from decisions made on the basis of a report, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Keep your own operational fallback. A stock system is not a substitute for the paperwork your regulator requires you to hold.
Changes
The application changes as features are added, altered or withdrawn. These terms may change with it. When they change materially, the version and effective date at the top of this page change, and the updated terms are shown in the application's legal section.
Ending your use
Your organisation's administrator can withdraw your access at any time. You can request deletion of your account from Settings → Account → Delete my account, or from http://localhost:4000/account-deletion. What deletion does, and what is kept afterwards, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Kobo Warehouse is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless your organisation's agreement says otherwise.
